Part number required for speaker

I need to replace the tweeter (by the internal door handle) on the front passenger door of my A2 as it's started crackling with high frequencies especially above volume level 10 on the stereo.

Please assist!

Here you go:

8Z0 035 399 is the tweeter (I think) and 8Z0 035 411 is the woofer (could be the other way round).

If you want Bose parts, add 'A' to the part number.

From memory i think the tweeters are £28 each and the woofers £35 each. its the same numbers for front or back.

Actually, I think I've done the right thing as I noticed after a bit more ebay-ing that they also have a main component door speaker available too.. something tells me that this 'odd combination' means they may not be 'new' afterall..

No, they'll be new, as in not used before, but they will have been sitting round on a shelf for a couple of years.

This doesn't do anything for a cones' longevity or sound, as it can sag or get damp and mis-shapen, so all in all, you probably did the right thing.

Otherwise for the others, The number for the tweeter is 8Z0 035 399A. The full list:

- Tweeters 8Z0 035 399(A) (A meens BOSE)

- Amp 8Z0 035 223(A) (A meens BOSE)

There are 2 different type of amps since for example the Concert 2 has only an amp section for 2 (front) speakers. The standard 8Z0 035 223 amp is fitted to deliver the back speakers some tunes and the 8Z0 035 223A is the full 5 chanel BOSE amp.
