The head unit that came with our A2 is probably the very basic audi model, tape deck and multichanger (compartment in boot). However the radio can receive one station only local leicester sound (joy :s). Also the when accessing the multi changer it very slow to select tracks (up to 20 secs between tracks) If you skip tracks it takes an age to find the one you select.

Not sure if this is the radio/changer are just cranky and old or something else

Any ideas???

Oh yeah sometimes i get random beeps like TP cutting in and it won`t stop??
Have to turn the unit off.

sound is also very bassy no matter how you set bass levels.

Other than that it works fine lol

Hi uNco
Another club member had problems with poor radio reception and he traced it to the aeriel system - see link for more details
