I'm about to order cables for my RNS-E (A6) but I don't have the highline (FIS) instruments thus miss the third cable in the dash. Therefore I hope the Can-bus Infotainment is inside the computer in the footwell and that the pin of the connector is just empty.

I have the two upper most computers in the footwell and the top most has the orange/green + orange/brown cables (also referred to as the Can-bus LOW) coming in. It sais "Zentrale komfortelektronik" and has the following part nr: 8Z0 959 433 N. (The car is a 2001 but I see the computer must have been replaced late 2003 so it probably has newer software.)

Do you guys with the Highline have the same part nr and if so, where- and on what connector does the orange/purple cable attach. The orange/brown might be two different ones so that too could be of interest.

Thanks!

Thanks!PM me with the engine and transmission codes and I'll take a look at the schematics for you.

You can sometimes pick up the CAN H and CAN L signals from the dash-pod, even on non-CAN cars.

Cheers,

Mike
