VAGCOM Fault - 16786 - EGR System: Excessive Flow

Hi,

My Audi A2 has the following fault

16786 - EGR System: Excessive Flow
P0402 - 35-00

I have cleared the fault, but now the car has a lumpy idle.

Any ideas?

I knew you would be the 1st to answer.

Lumpy idle is gone after a drive.

Car seems to be ok at the moment.

Where abouts is the EGR?

The EGR valve is usually integrated into the exhaust manifold and bleeds exhaust gas back into the intake under certain load conditions. Sorry I don't know the exact location for the petrol engine
