Hi all
Our little family is growing so we need to let our beloved Audi go to a new home. This is just to gauge interest on selling it privately against trade-in to a stealer for some ridiculous offer.
It's been driven the last 3 years by my wife and transported her and our first born very capably.
It's in Akoya Silver, with a blue interior (sports seats with lumbar) and a removable bench rear seat. There are 2 new tyres on the front and two new wheels. The rear wheels are "lightly curbed" but fixable and the tyres are still legal. These are the 17" Sport wheels.
It's got the handbrake cubby and the rear storage bin (fitted with instructions from this website!) and extra Audi mats. It's just had a brand new complete turbo via Audi warranty. 6 CD Changer, Climate, all the usual stuff in a Sport.
It's done 25881 miles and has been serviced VAG (one so far).
We'll be sorry to see it go - it's a cracker.
So, what do you think - any interest?

I'm sure that someone will take you up on it/take your arm off!
Just out of interest, what were your turbo problems? 25k miles is nothing in the great scheme of things, and it's the first variable turbo I've heard problems with.
Cheers,
Mike

Turbo issue was that the car lost power, but only on the Motorway at constant 70mph - actually more like 85 :) - The only way to get power back was to switch off the engine and restart, but too many times and we'd get an engine warning light. The turbo was basically switching off.
Audi Amersham replaced a "boost sensor relay' on their first attempt, which didn't work, but since they replaced the whole thing it's been back to it's normal self.
They haven't told me what was actually wrong, but really I don't care, since it's fixed.
All of this was 3 months ago - annoying at the time, but nearly forgotten now...

Interesting and definitely a new one on me.
Best of luck with the sale.

Whats the asking price?

Your TDI Sport seems nice. Just curious, are the only differences between your sport version and SE version of the TDI 90 the suspension/wheels and the (front) seats? I ask because on other versions the SE used to have fogs and no DIS, whereas the Sport had DIS but no fogs. However on the TDI 90 the SE has DIS and Symphony 2.
However on the TDI 90 the SE has DIS and Symphony 2.
That's not the case ebeneezer. The 'basic', Special Edition, SE and Sport all have exactly the same respective specification regardless of engine (noting the 1.6FSI and 1.4TDI 90 have rear disc brakes, where as the 1.4i and 1.4TDI 75 have drums). If you are aware of a TDI 90 SE with Symphony and DIS then they are fitted as an option, not standard - only the Sport got DIS as standard.

Absolutely correct Chris.
One small point though, for the pedants amongst us, there was no such thing as a TDi 90 Special Edition, as they'd discontinued that particular engine before the run-out Special Edition was introduced.

Mike
Dead right, I was generalising model for model - there was no 1.6FSI Special Edition either, only 1.4i or 1.4TDI
