Hi all,
I've been happily using my A2 for a year now and have had no problems what-so-ever. The MOT was due a couple of weeks ago so I took it along to my local Audi dealer in Bath (thought it'd be good to give them a go before my service is due). The MOT went fine but since then my CD changer hasn't been working. It could be coincidence, but it seems a bit fishy.
I have the Concert II in dash CD player with a six disc changer in the boot. The in dash player is still working fine and I've tried the changer with original discs and CD-Rs, both of which were working fine previously. The unit has power - I hear the mechanism checking each slot when I insert it, but when I press and hold the CD button on the head unit it seems like it doesn't "go-to" the changer. No error messages or anything useful like that.
I can't imagine that any part of the MOT have involved fiddling with the electrics or the changer itself, and the car is now due a service so I can mention it when I take it in, but I thought if it was something simple, it would make sense for me have a look at it rather than waste the dealers time (and therefore my money)!
Any ideas?
