I would like to fit front foglamps to my A2, any ideas on the cheapest way? is it possible?

Potato,
I wanted them too, but when I heard it would cost me about € 350,=, I decided this was too much. The costs are that high because you do not only need the lamps, but some new wiring and a new light-switch as well. The new switch lets you turn on the foglamps, the standard one doesn't. This all, including installing/mounting everything, makes the total amount to high for me.
I think the lamps look nice on the car, but I would probably almost never use them. And then € 350,= is a lot of money.
I don't know if there are any other solutions.

There must be another way!
I'll have a look into it.

The front fog lamps on my SE have a domed glass or plastic clear cover. This seems to be pitted, like sandblasting, so are hard to clean and never completely clear.
Anyone else noticed this?

I have noticed that too. No matter how much scrubbing, it always seems to look grubby!

The lamps in a scrapyard car will be damaged too...

I have opted for fog lamps instead of DIS. I'm still sorry not to have DIS as it obviously accurately shows average consumption. But I'm happy to have foglights. Not only those are good looking but make a huge difference in fog. We have already had a few foggy mornings in Slovenia and I was more than pleased having almost a daylight in those conditions.
Be carefull with the retrofit fog lights not to compromise the warranty of a car.

None of my sources seem to supply a fog lamp kit for the A2...one of my sources has even gone out of business since I started this site in February!
