Just joined up, so hi everyone!

I've come from a past of a couple of Golf GTi's, but in my maturing age, I now have my sensible head on, and after a neighbour decided to reverse in to my Mk2 Golf GTi a few weeks ago and write it off (yes, write it off just by reversing in to it!), I have now gone out a got myself an A2 1.4TDi.

Only picked it up on Tuesday, and got a few little problems to sort out like the indicator relay and a blown sidelight bulb, but loving it so far.

Glad I've stumbled across this forum as it seems a really good online social gathering and a valuable source of information, so plan to be a regular visitor/poster.

Welcome Wibber, I hope you enjoy the A2 as much as the rest of us!

EDIT - I notice in your profile that you have a 2002-registered TDI 90; they only introduced the 90 in 2003 so if you have been sold a '90' I suspect it's not one; the tell-tales are rear disc brakes (the 75 has drums) and a red 'I' in the TDI badge.

Yep, slip of the finger....it is a 75. Have now corrected it.

Just had a valeter mate of mine come over and do a Autoglym LifeShine on the car.

Wow, it looked good when I bought it but now it looks brand new, like it has just come out of the showroom!
