My Y reg A2 has developed a fault, which I'm hoping is easy to fix.

The control panel, on door handle, for the front electric windows, the wing mirror adjustment, the LED for the alarm and the central locking button have all stopped working. I'm pretty sure the alarm doesn't work either.

I thought it might be a fuse, but as everything stopped working together, I am hoping that it's just the connector that has fallen off behind the door panel.

Now here's the rub, I have no idea how to remove any of the trim. I did try and use a star bit on the door handle but nothing budged. Any pointers on how to remove the trim, or whether my hunch that the problem is a simple one is correct?
