Hopefully link should work, but what do people think of this, I know one is being developed, but found this, could easily be recovered and the rear bracket chromed........................

sorry Alan,
but that is and looks rubish
and why wait, there are good ones available, single or double ones and with perfect matching cloth or leather
just look here, and yes they are also available from the german e-bay
http://www1.armrest.info/eng/default.asp
I fitted the two single ones, most germans have fitted the double ones, and all are very happy with it, i think that over 50 germans have fitted these to there cars
see here for my fitting story'

If you deside to buy them, then go direct via the german ebay, as they can sell them you cheaper then the manufacturer can

Recently saw another armrest that has a bit more Audi style, could be a retrofitted item and personally i like it a lot more;

What i don't like about that Ebay armrest is that it doesn't move along with your seat when you move into another position. And the way you mount it doesn't look very reliable with that just one piece of metal.

If I a not mistaken this was first shown on this forum in 2002 where a member developed it and it could be purchased via a link!
There was concern that you had to drill into the VIN number under the lift out tray.

Found it
http://stores.ebay.de/KFZ-TEILE-LEONHARDT
If you write to them then with the part number you want, then they can give you a quote, they speak english and they also ship to the UK
Let us know how you get on
Fixing the armrest is very easy
