LED sidelights headlamps

Hello all,
newbie post, i just seen both in the Audi magazine and on the AutoCar used car awards TV show on ITV4, the A2 with LEDs running along the leadlamps (a la A5 style). Where can i get these from?

Hello oscarricher,

Yes, I am the guilty party - it is my A2, 'Tank' which is in AD magazine and was featured on the recent Used Car Awards program.

The lights are actually genuine S6 daytime running lights, which have been disassembled and re-made to fit inside the A2 headlamp shell.

While I was at it, I fitted RS4 bi-xenon units too, together with headlamp washers and auto levelling electronics too.

Safe to say, I can see (and be seen) pretty darn well now, especially at night.

Fitting isn't too straightforward and you can't buy a kit of parts, but you asked and now you know!

there i was hoping i could pick up some cheap n easy to install headlamps with the LEDs from Ebay! o well, your car certainly looks the buzz.
