Day of my life: Will have to be a dead-heat between my wedding day and the day my son rather unexpectedly decided to put in his appearance (3 months ago - feels like 30 [|)])
Film: Luc Besson's "Le Grand Bleu"
Piece of Music: Eric Serra's soundtrack to the above.

:D Ah, but then I'm addicted to (rather healthier) kebabs from Greek tavernas - not the usual post <s>p1ss-up</s> booze-up fare that those of us in the UK occasionally inflict on ourselves...

Mmm, I must admit that generally my favourites are:
Chinese
Indian
Thai
Mexican
but I am getting very selective in my old age about exactly where I get them from. Delicate flavour rather than heat is harder to find, but I think I'm getting addicted to the Mini Nan bread from Tesco's as well!

I seem to remember joining mid-fetish and have shopped at Tesco's for years now, but I'm being 'courted' by Sainsburys at present. Is it just my local Tesco, or are they starting to go a little 'kwik save' on us, pile it high and mainly sell the volume goods, stock management is appalling at ours. The organic section has certainly been trimmed down and this is a very large store. The Sainsburys has less floor space, yet I always feel like I have more choice. Hey ho, time to defect perhaps as I'm starting to buy more and more from there when I find Tesco don't have it.

Rob-ah, old computers!. Mine was an Oric (not the Atmos, but the basic Oric with hard, tiny keys). When my mum found out you HAD to have the tape recorder volume up whilst loading she took it straight back to Laskys (whatever happened to Laskys?) and got me a Commodore 64....
Those were the days....

Commodore 64, now that takes me back. Our next door neighbour had the Sinclair stuff and I have the Commodore stuff, first was a Vic20 and then the C64, those old tape drives were something else weren't they.

Wasn´t it "Load 1,8,15...."...:-) or was that for Floppy drives?
(I never had a C64, I always wanted a C128D, but then my Dad bought an Atari 520ST... much to my dismay. On hindsight I am very grateful that he did..:-)

The C64 had the 1512 datasette (I think!). A very nice purpose bult cassette loader. Or was the 1512 the 5 1/2 inch floppy...no think that was the 1540. Ah those were the days. Remember the first time I bought a mouse and some bespoke GUI software-I thought it was the best!.
I had a modem too that plugged in the cartridge port and connected to the Commodore bulletin board. I remember the first telephone bill my mum got.....boy was she mad!.
And a Quickshot II joystick to play HovverBovver, Powerdroid, PitStop II......and then I went and got an Amiga A500 (then A1200)....then into the world of PC......
