I needed a small bit of touch up paint for my Island Green A2, long back order from dealer, price was an arm and a leg. My local auto paint mixer said it was a standard VW colour and mixed it on the spot, very cheap, perfect match. You may find this info useful if you are unfortunate enough to collect a tiny scratch.

I got mine from Halfords-about £7 but was prep, paint and lacqure plus some brushes to clean area. Very good pin-point applicator for the paint-good for very small jobs.

I've used the Halfords kit for my A4 (Silver). It's OK for small spots, e.g. a pinhead size, but scratches and the like show up (in the silver anyway). You might be better off with your darker colours as it's not so obvious.

I wonder why they made such a fuss about my touch up paint, seems nobody else has a problem, maybe it's the colour. They did tell me that it was expensive though, but no actual price.
