Took the family to the coast today enjoying the weather and the drive, returned home and it wasn't till an hour later Ive realised the four hubcaps have been removed and two alloys damaged, where the caps have been prised off.

sorry to hear that, utter scumbags the characters who do that sort of thing.
I went to the north west BMW show a while back and had the centre caps and my alloy dust caps nicked from the car, I was gutted.

Really sorry to hear of your misfortune Alan.
There is only one course of action open to people that disrespect other peoples property, but unfortunately the law prohibits that kind of justice. Instead, we have to truely hope that the adage "what goes around, comes around" applies in the instance more so than ever.
The damaged area is probably not an easy repair, but an experienced restorer may be able to get them back to how they should be. As for the centre caps, you may be lucky enough to find some on ebay; otherwise it is probably a trip to the dealer.
Good luck at any rate.

I can only echo the above comments. If it's any help, the new caps are £15.62 each (you do have SE wheels don't you?) - I guess this is far less than your excess, but it gives you an idea of what costs you'll incur.
Cheers,
Mike

VagParts list the SE hub caps for £10.57 + postage and vat - less 10% club discount if you pre register with them

Cheers guys
Will order from vagparts today attempted last night but message stated updating site. The damage to the wheels is not that bad, but gives me the excuse to get them refurbed. But what makes it worse is the fact you cant leave your car anywhere.
