OK Folks as promised i would like to announce
the A2OC Fantasy GP for 2008 ....
I Have entered onto a different site this year as it took the last
site/game for ever to update afer each race so hopefully
we are onto a winner this time .......

You need to register here http://fantasyformula1.virginmedia.com/
then you will be sent an activation
number by email before you can pick your team
when you think of your team name try and make some reference
to your A2OC Name then we will know who you are ...

You will need to pick 3 drivers ,a track ,an engine and a team
not as easy as it sounds on the small budget you are given .....

I Have set up a mini league which you will also need to join here

i have to accept your entry into the league that makes 8 of us so far ....

Only a few days to go before the season kicks off i can hardly wait
there are lots of different rules this year you need to take a look at the rules and FaqS
on the virginmedia website ....
You can change any members in your team before 15th March , later on in the season
if you have a dud in your team you can make up to 3 Transfers , so should be a lot more tactical this year and not just down to luck .....

So who else was up at 3 this morning? That was just glorious to see the cars sliding their way round the track and the drivers actually having to drive.
Must set my alarm for the race - I'm thinking the start will be quite interesting with no launch or traction control.

I'm seriously thinking of getting up for this - you're right Rob, watching the squidgy organic bit having to do some work was great today. I think that Lewis will have an advantage over a lot of others as he's less used to relying on the computers and as I have him on my team, I may not come last this year!

I thought I came last last year - hence why I'm not embarassing myself again this year.
There are plenty of others who are used to no TC or have had limited exposure to TC - Vettel, Bourdais, Glock, Kubica, Nakajima.

I'm sure last year that Lewis said he thought his biggest threat in the future would be Kubica. Looks like he might be right.

Well done Lewis i went for Ferrari again rather than Mclaren as they came good later on last year i have spread my money around and chosen a lot of New Raw Talent LOL , bit of a gamble ....
Dont forget you've got 3 chances to get rid of any Donkeys in your team as we all have 3 transfers throughout the season ,

I Have just rebuilt my pc and went on to check the scores for the Fantasy GP . I noticed that the scores where not right i thought it may have something to do with cookies and Virgin not remembering who i am ,so after consulting Virgin media and Re-checking all the rules it seems
the first 2 rounds where practice rounds Austrialia and melbourne do not count towards the final tally ,a little strange i thought but apparently this is so u can transfer your muppet drivers before the season starts proper ,all points where reset after the Malaysia GP

Yes, an interesting race to say the least! I still can't work out how Hamilton went from 2nd to 3rd and was leapfrogged!

Anyway, I have made a few subtle subs over the last month or so, but wasn't expecting much in the way of points with my team this week - just goes to show I've not gotten my head around this scoring lark yet!
