Trying to get KONI NL to consider an exchange program to replace worn shocks on both Audi A2 1.2 TDI and Lupo/Arosa 3L.
If you are interested please sign up below. Also let other owners know about the idea. Hopefully cost will be similar to Normal A2 FSDs.
More info on why normal FSDs won't work:

Thanks

Lukas,
Only one Arosa 3L was built as a prototype. VW killed it.

Saw a review in Diesel car for the Arosa many moons ago. Quite a few parts from A2 made in Spain.
Anyways - would you be interested in shocks?

Hi Lukas!
As already pointed out a few weeks ago, custom made aftermarket dampers are necessary for the 1.2 A2 Eco and Lupo Eco.
If Koni NL head-quarters do agree to exchange your “normal (non 1.2)“ FSDs with a set of custom made ones, I do hope they’ll offer a small batch of let’s say 20 to 30 sets for all interested 1.2 owners worldwide. That should fairly reduce the price tag.
As for the shocks of the regular A2 FSD kit # 2100-4041, also the rear dampers must be modified for the 1.2 to operate within the correct stroke regime. Otherwise that special frequency induced rebound force adjustment might be affected negatively. KONI NL has to incorporate that the 1.2 A2 is stock lowered by about 20 mm vs the regular A2 fleet.
Lowering does affect body motion frequency...
Regards
P.S. Because the average 1.2 A2 owner does keep his car over a (very) long period of time, I strongly encourage all comfort loving 1.2 cruisers to get this FSD upgrade.
Since about 30,000 3L's and about 6,000 A2 1.2's were built, I am suprised that this is an issue. I would be interested, if the price is OK but only for the A2 unless replacement is necessary for the 3L's.

I would definitely support a request for a run of dampers for the 1.2Tdi
Mine will be needing some soon and as there's no replacement for the car now, of course, I'll have to keep it going forever!
Remember me? We exchanged a few emails some years ago. My 1.2 is still going strong - averaging 95mpg. I managed an amazing 120.2mpg on a very careful door to door run from Doncaster to Uxbridge once.
I know of two other 1.2 users in the UK apart from us.
PS. I've also got the Lupo version.

I'm interested in the A2 1.2 version.
Best Regards!
