Rubber Duckey, 10-4, Breaker Breaker; we got ourselves a convoy!

The only old car you'll see here I'm afraid - no idea what it is

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v371/christodd1/IMG_4668.jpg

Nice, not sure what it is though (yes, I should have taken notes...)

An Austin Mini - wrong age for the sketch, but it's depicting the scene in The Italian Job where the three mini's escaped through sewers under Turin - this scene was actually filmed in Coventry in sewers for a new housing development that weren't in use at the time

This is more like it - Reliant Scimitar GTE. A proper 70's and 80's 'sporting tourer'. Lovely

A Chrysler Avenger (I think...) on a mock production line. Notice the lack of tin-worm!

Marie, my wife, posing with an Austin All-Agro; her Dad had a few of these, being from the West Midlands it was the law to own one (with his whopping BL discount)

Thrust 2, the car that Richard Noble broke the land speed record driving in 1983 hitting 633.88mph - the record was held until 1997...

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v371/christodd1/IMG_4697.jpg

...when Andy Green broke the record piloting the wingless aircraft, Thrust SSC, with its twin Rolls-Royce Spey jet engines. The simulator and presentation are fantastic; touching this 763mph beast feels incredible.

A2 owners will be pleased to note that we do not suffer from door cracking alone...

Princess Diana's mini metro bought for her by Charlie

The Acclaim, a Triumph that proved reasonably reliable; probably because it was a re-badged Honda!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v371/christodd1/IMG_4723.jpg

Not sure on the Coventry Connection (the car was built in Northern Ireland, the engine is a Peugeot Renault Volvo PRV V6), but Back to the Future is a great film

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v371/christodd1/IMG_4725.jpg

Peugeot, until recently, built cars in the Ryton factory (former Talbot) - the 309, 405, 306 and 206 were all built there. Sadly the carcass of a once-proud plant sits alongside the A45... The Rally cars were also engineered in the UK. The 205 T16 does it for me!

A Triumph TR7, otherwise known as 'The Wedge'

Some models produced by students of Coventry's International Automotive Design Course were also on display. Fantastic they are too

The forums attempts to produce an A2 in the childrens play-area. Without the help of some kids, it wouldn't look anywhere near as good!

And Finally, at the Curry we all took the opportunity to oggle at the A2's award for the Autotrader Used Car awards, kindly lent to the club by Audi UK.
