Time has some again to change the tyres!

I have been looking at various brands, and have found the Falken FK-452 which looks to be a decent tyre.

Has anybody had any experience of these on an A2?

Im also considering Kumho Ecsta 31's - any tips or comparisons?

I would be running 215/40 17 on mine.

Over to you....

Try the mytyres web site as this shows tyre test results for many brands and models. It's a starting point if no club members have first hand experience.

I'm running a pair of Nexen N3000 at the moment, in 215/40 R 17 and they seem pretty good, not bad for £120 the pair fitted.

Cheers,

Mike

I went from Michelins to the Falkens on my A4 and have been very impressed with them. Good grip, low road noise and they were about half the cost of the Michelins.

You get lots of use from the Michelins though, I have got them on my other car and have gone on for ages. Still at twice the price, I suppose you would expect that!

I have got my new FK452's fitted!

Mike - do you know the tyre pressure recommended for this size tyre/alloys front and back?

I worked out my old Falken FK-452 did 19,500 miles. Not bad for £50 a corner then i had them fitted.
