tow hitch

Hello members,

I have a 2004 a-2 1.6. I would like to carry with me a 250cc yamaha motor scooter. I located an all aluminum carrier weighing 40 lbs.
It requires a 2" class A hitch. Would the car be able to handle this and or do you have any better ideas or products to suggest?

Before you get too carried away there check out the price of a towbar, dealer supply only I believe and at typical dealer prices too, most tow bars are designed to take around 80kg max weight and you have used 20kg of that with just the carrier, so you may struggle anyway, I'd imagine the max weight for an A2 ball may well be lower as well
may be better using a small trailer instead, but first check out that tow bar price
