Hi,

Has anyone got a picture of what the 205/45/R16 tyres look like on the 16" wheels.....struggling to find 185/50 R16 so looking for alternatives but aren't 205's too wide?

Thanks

Cheaper and ready to fit are 195/45 R16. some Germans already have these tyres listed in their documents as standard.

I ran 205/50/16's on a set of A3 sport rims for a while, seemed okay, corrected the optomistic speedo to match the gps on the satnav as well, I no longer have the car or rims but have the tryes, about 6mm tread left if you're interested,

I think I'm going to put some 195/50's on rather than 195/45,s - Anything not to make the ride any worse until I can afford some Koni FSDs. Either way they are both about 1% out. Don't forget to check sizing for diameter on:

I found that the speedo was 3-5% out anyway so the extra size made mine read correctly
