Got myself a new car

As my move to Canada is taking longer than expected, I've finally got bored of my 1.0L Corsa and have now got myself a BMW 528SE auto on an R reg.

Hmm it'd be a bit like comparing chalk and cheese so I 'll leave the Corsa out of this.....
For an 11 year old car, the BM still feels extemely solid and drives extremely well - and as for the engine. Hmmm smooooth.

As I don't do many miles, why not treat myself to something nice. An A6 was another alternative but I didn't see any which lit my fire.

The E39 is a peach and perhaps the finest BMW saloon ever made. The 2.8 straight-six is just about as good as it gets, much nicer than the V8's of similar age (and their rubbish 'worm and roller' steering set-up).
