15inch alloys

Hi

Does anyone have any photo's of the A2 15inch polished alloys painted silver ?

Due to a few bits of corrosion on my alloys I'm considering getting them refurbed and always thought the polished finish was a bit 'pimped', so was wondering what they would look like standard silver.

As it happens they look good, mine had suffered the same fate and had been painted by the garage before I bought it. Not admittedly the worlds best paint job, but far better than scuzzy polished alloy and knackered laquer.

Mine had gone before i got the car so the supplying dealer did the same personally i prefer them just painted.

I also have these polished 15" and some clear varnish is coming off so I will self polish them this summer...
The type of water based clear varnish they used is not good for the winter, that is why there is so much corrosion on these wheels...

there's no lacquer on them, they are polished, pure and simple. I'll add some belgom this year to help protect them. They were put in the garage reasonably dirty and after a quick wipe and some autosol on a polisher, they look great again :)
