I had my A2 1.4Tdi Serviced at my local Audi dealer last week the car was fine when it went in but on getting it back I have had problems starting it which has gradually got worse to point when you switch off the engine 5 minutes later it struggles to start again seems to me like it's fuel starvation! any ideas??

Just taken it back to the dealers today for the 3rd time.

Just got my car back from Audi Yesterday seems that they have now fixed the problem, a t pipe had been broken off from the fuel filter causing the problems starting! gave me a A3 2.0Tdi s line which was good fun but great to have my A2 back!

And no charge which is even better.

Hmmm, which dealer was that Phil? It is refreshing to see no charge, even though it was their fault in the first place. Dealers have been known to levy a bill in respect of stuff like this in the past.

Cheers,

Mike

Hi Mike, it was Blackburn Audi took them a while to sort it out but like you said was great to get a freebie. I was dreading getting a bill for the work!

could anybody recomend a garage in the Lancashire/Manchester area where I could get my brakes done!

Audi wanted over £250 would like to use a garage that was advised rather than pull one out of the yellow pages?

Cheers in advance

If it's a simple brake disc and pad change, get the parts on Ebay (£45 for front discs and pads for instance, and that's from a seller in Failsworth!), then you could always come to my local garage, MDR Autos in Mossley, who are great and very reasonable.

Won't advertside the number here, but a simple Google of the garage name will reveal all.

Cheers,

Mike
