My new A2 (see new sig!) needs a new wiper blade (old "solid" style) - I know these can't be bought in halfords etc but is there somewhere cheaper than the stealers to get them from - I got one for the missus's A2 from ebay but there are none for sale there at the moment.

Did you know that the 'rubber blade', is available from good car accessory shops, and it only takes a few minutes to do this, open/widen the retaining metal bits on the ends of the wiper arm and simply slide the old rubber bit out and insert the new replacement, then retighten the retaining metal bits.

On my Mercedes servicing, the donkeys (dealers), charged me £28 each x3 = £ 84 !!!
DIY bought 3 x blades @ £1.50 each = 3x £1.50 = £4.50 BIG difference!

I bought the new style wiper blade from the stealers at nearly half the price some on ebay was selling. ebay does not equal cheap!

I purchased today from the Local Audi Dealer An A2 Wiper blade (Floppy type) for a reasonably priced £ 14.34p incl. vat

Considerably less than a pair of Branded Pair of aero blades for my last car a VW Passat.

Immediate improvement , small price to pay, don't risk your screen getting damaged.

I also use nano fluid on all my glass and the rain streams off readily at normal driving speeds, therefore minimising blade use.

Hope this helps
