New car and a few questions?

Hi, picked up the A2 this morning and I am very pleased with it so far. I have a couple of questions though.

I need access to the centre air-vent because the air director has come out of its runners so I cannot direct the air. Can anyone advise me of how to gain access to the vent, ie. by removing the panel facia?

I have also noticed that when the top line of the DIS displays red to show the current tunes radio station some of the pixels are fainter than others. Is this common on A2's ?

To get to the centre air vents, you will need to remove your stereo unit and then you will see two screws under the lip, remove these and gently lift out bearing in mind the hazard switch wiring, will need to be disconnected.
