help audi wont start

Hello,

I started car this morning and stalled it now it ticks over but wont start and the glow plug is flashing. Any ideas what the probelm is.

The glow plug flashing is a general fault error,think you would need vagcom to check on error codes. I did have that exact problem on a Transit Connect and it turned out to be the accelerater pedal(drive by wire). I'm sure someone else will give you a better idea soon.

I had this problem when I first bought my A2. Forgive the girl speak but, on starting the engine it receives an inject of petrol/diesel. If the car is then used for a v short journey and started again, it will flood. The only thing I could do, and in fact it was the RAC man was turn the engine over and over and it will sound awful but eventually a puff of black smoke and you will have cleared the flooding. The car should then remain running for a good 15mins. Try it, you never know!
