Low Price Castrol Edge Oil

Just ordered some Edge 5w30 from Race Lubricants. Their prices seem to be about the lowest I could find (unless you use Costco) Carriage is free and you can pay by Paypal.
They also do Owners Club discounts (an extra 5%) if we can get this set up

Spike, what is the best oil for the 1.4i Petrol A2 then?

also any other types you'd recommend?

In my opinion the best oil for the A2 petrol is Castrol Edge 5w30 which meets the latest VW 504.00 spec (as well as the VW 507.00 spec for our PDI diesel engines) Castrol developed these long life oils in conjunction with Audi which literally gives them the edge when it comes to the optimum formulation. Several other oil companies offer oils which meet the VW spec but none will have been tested so thoroughly.
