Don't you just love those polished alloy wheels? Nice when they are new, but golly - don't they corrode! We are a two a2 family and I just have had both cars' wheels refurbed at the Wheel Specialist (lots of UK branches - it is a franchise) and got them shot blasted, powder coated and painted in silver - they look great and better bet than going for some non-audi aftermarket alloys. Good price too given quality of finish. If you go to the one in Leeds (Garforth), I could probably wangle a discount out of Brian (the owner) - let me know!
