Where can I purchase a set of the wheels on the black A2?
http://www.a2oc.net/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=823
They look like TT wheels? Does anyone know the specific offset and size to fit an A2?
Cheers
ps. Does anyone know which Vulcan is in the photo (558 or 426 maybe?) my Dad used to fly them and just wondered which one it is?

Alternatively is anyone selling a good conditioned set of 17" A2 sport wheels?

If you are referring to the car in the foreground, then that is my A2 - Tank!
They are Ur-TT wheels and are 7.5J x 17 ET32 part number 8N0 601 025AA
Theyare fitted with 215/40 tyres and were bought from Ebay a couple of years ago and suit the car a treat. They are also stronger than the 9 spoke original alloys, which are prone to buckling.
If you can find a set, go for it, they're great wheels and are easy to clean.
Cheers,
Mike

Cheers!
They seem a difficult set of wheels to find used.

Why don't you come over to the Duxford social - there is an AVRO Vulcan in the new hanger there...

Cheers for the invite ULP :), the social at Duxford sounds great but currently but I have no spare time at the moment :( plus the A2 is not running as it should.
Me and my dad really want to have a look round the museum with the new hanger when time permits as there looks to be some very nice examples of aircraft there.
He flew the B.2 and later maintained it as an engineer and its great news that there is an example of a B.2 indoors being preserved :)
ps. Is the picture of the A2 and the Vulcan available in High Rez or HD as I ould like it as my PC desktop wallpaper?

Gonna definately keep and eye on these and may make a bid if the price does not go too high?
I'm also going to enquire about the cost of a refurb for my exisiting wheels.
