Yes, you know you will.
It won't take long to get bored of the Fabia's extra 'whoosh' and then you'll be left with a normal hatch - a great one, but still a normal hatch.

I fancied a VRS until I drove one.
Nippy very heavy at the front end and very bland inside.
I do wonder how people keep those white seats clean.
Good luck with either choice

Having owned an Octavia VRS which I felt was a stonking performer in a straight line but a bit of a let down on the twisties I can only advise you to take an extended test drive first, I did consider a fabia VRS in the past few days but went with the Audi simply because it appeared to be in a different league to the Skoda product in terms of 'perceived' quality I say perceived because all VAG group cars are in theory built to the same standards and share so many components but the Audis seem to have a class about them that all the others somehow don't, either way I am sure you will not regret it, the Fabia is supposed to be serious bit of kit.
And the seats are a bastard to keep clean, the only way I found was to chuck them in the bath and give them a good scrub and shower down, I found that upholstery cleaners just seemed to make them look even grubbier.

There are various threads on the forum regarding re-mapping etc. If you intend keeping it a while longer then I would say it is worth looking at. With that mileage I would personally go for a less extreme mapping. Alternatively you could buy my DTUK Tuning box from me :D ( lol) which I used to have on my A2, gives about 20% improvement rather than the 35/40% a remap can give.
