Space Saver Spare Wheel Q...

Hi all,
Going to need a space saver spare wheel for my trips back and forwards to Holland over the coming months - will any VW/Audi 5 studd do (within reason), and does it matter about size? My old Golf have 17" wheels but the space saver was smaller (from memory). My A2 runs on 17's at the moment...

audis spacesaver is a 15",well mine is!
and they are only get you home wheel and tyre.
A 17" from your golf would be a full size and useable spare

Considering the mileage and the lengths of driving you will be doing, I would use a full size spare ... just my opinion :)

Good point - I'll keep hold of my old wheels for now and keep one of those with me untill I get hold of an 17" spare... - any spare will do if anyone has one going cheap :o)
