should fit, will depend on the offset of the wheels. 205 on 8s is kinda tight, though, basically no wheel protection and no comfort.

Hi Bret
Thanks for the info the guy said that the tyre looks tight and protection
for the rim.
The offset is 35 would a 8"x17" with 215x40x17 fit better !

Hi,
yes, 215/40R17 indeed would be better in terms of rim protection and (residual) comfort.
Another alternative would be 225/35R17 on your 8x17 rim (that would be my first choice especially in combination with very expensive rims).
With respect to the rim offset, at 8“ rim width you have to shift the ET to 25-30 to prevent rubbing at the inner side of the wheel housings. Keep an eye on the ABS wires at the front being in danger of rubbing through – so please use plastic cable retainers for these ABS wires.

Hi
Thanks for the info I think I better stick to the 7.5" rim size with a
215x40x17 tyre combo :)
I got them on yesterday 7.5"x17 215X40X17 RS4 NEW STYLE 7 SPOKE TWIN BLADE TYPE looks good
and no sign of rubbing at all.
