Hi everyone im new to the site after selling my rattling but extremely reliable a class opted for a a2 1.6 fsi with open sky roof absolutely solid, just wondering if 18" rs4 style rims would fit they sell them on ebay and say they fit but when i rang a wheel place they said they would rub the arches any ideas anyone thanks stu

Hi,
as long as
the PCD is 5x100
the rim width does not exceed 8“
the offset ranges from about 25 to 30
the tyre size is 205/35R18 or 215/35R18
there won’t be any fitting and rubbing issues with 18“ rims. (with standard height springs).
However, if these RS4 type wheels do come with a different 5 hole mounting layout (5x112, 5x120 etc) and an offset of 45 to 55 for instance, then you have to mount adaptor spacers of 20 mm thickness each.
