Emmm, have been thinking about this for a while now. What do I do if I get a flat tire? Let's say a nail goes through my tire. Can the little pump fix it?

You should have a tube of "Gunk" in the boot, that will seal some types of puncture. You re-inflate the tyre using the gunk and drive, slowly, to the nearest garage. However, if said injury is in the sidewall (and if you've driven a few miles with a flat tyre, the sidewall will probably be wrecked by then anyway), there's nothing you can do except call your favourite road-side assistance or find a mobile tyre-replacement service.

Either that or buy a space-saver spare to stick in the boot.

My only previous experience of trying to use puncture repair gunk with my S2 is that after 2 years in the boot, when I did come to need it, the stuff had gone off, so it didn't work anyway so had to call mobile tyre man - that cost me nearly £200!

That sounds nasty. Thanks.
