From what I can gather, great engine, crap interior and terrible chassis!

I can't help but think of Clarksons description every time I see one: looks like a dog doing a number 2!

I think the back is a bit like the new TT.. wanted to test drive one of them but they dont have them in the showrooms, actually still my have used ones.. and still want to try one of the dodge calibers which seem to be dropping in price lots

Whilst I love the way Clarkson is very descriptive with his words, I hear he wasn't a fan of our beloved A2's, anyone know what he actually said about the A2?

wow just as i was going to post about mr.c's opinion on a2's i see this--spooky
well your correct in the fact that he didn't like them-something about silly/ small /odd looking /wobbly(wipers) over priced £16,000 i managed to see the episode this am on sky ch dave. was most shocked--BUT would his opinion be the same in todays climate? i'm not so sure. happy a2 ing mike

The Crossfire is essentially a first generation Mercedes SLK with a crudely styled body over it. So a dull chassis, lifeless steering and hideous manual gearbox would seem to be the order of the day. It's a car to hire in America, but not drive in Europe.

The bit about the A2 on Top Gear was 'nobody makes such a things as a bad car nowadays do they?' and Ferrett came up with the A2 because it rocks when the wiper is on, to which The Oaf chortled that Audi wanted £16K for them; it was a sketch for introducing the Lexus SC430 as this is, apparently, a bad car.

When Clarkson's opinion steps beyond that expected of a 5 year old, it'll be worth something; until then the bloke is a 24 carrat idiot.
