View Full Version : New Arrival in October!
Well, to answer Kaine's point about why I've suddenly found so much time to spend posting on the forum (http://www.a2forum.net/forum/topic.asp?whichpage=2&TOPIC_ID=1546#12251), my wife and I are expecting a baby! She has REALLY bad morning sickness (all day) and hence is going to bed about the same time as our toddler and sometimes being sick, hence I'll be around and about from 8pm onwards most nights as I'm downstairs on standby as our toddler has this habit at the moment of 'challenging bedtime', especially when he can hear mummy being sick [}:)]
Anyway, we had the 12 week scan on Monday and thankfully there's only one in there (I was panicking slightly, two kids will be enough for me). Due date is mid-October. Can't wait :D:D:D

Congrats Ade & Mrs Ade:):)
There must be something in the water down here as a couple of our friends have a 2 week old babe and another 2 have recently announced they are due in September and October.
Think I'll give it another couple of years yet tho' before we go down that road.

Well done to you both.
Not in the "kid" way myself yet-just look at friends now and again-that's enough for me!. Friend just had a baby girl and he made me hold her-arghhhhhhh. I just get paranoid I'll drop her!.

Thanks guys.
Steve, Rob, I was a bratophobic, I'd never even babysat for anyone until my nipper arrived. Now it's a real hoot to be able to go and play footy in the garden and just enjoy doing stuff with him. We had great fun messing around with a hosepipe last week in the sun, takes all the pressures of work away. Don't get me wrong, I'm still a little phobic when it comes to other people's kids, but with your own it's like a second childhood at times. I can't wait for next Xmas as the Scalectrix will be present of the day (for me anyway). :D

Anyone know if you can get an A2 for Scalextric?

Ade,
I'd actually love kids right now but unfortunately there is a 'orrible disease which runs in my family. Get myself checked out over the next couple of years and take it from there. Fingers crossed.
