Ultimate Monstrosity

Didn't manage to get a photograph, but I've just seen the ultimate monstrosity today in Manchester city centre - a stretch Q7!!!

It was a well done stretch, in black, but my god, how awful!

The Q7 is a pug ugly car at the best of times, but this just made the thing even worse. Actually ashamed that it had 4 rings on its nose.

I'll keep a camera handy from now on in case the monster is seen again.

I have seen one of those recently, so there might even be two of them in existence. :(

Unfortunately the Q7 is chav wannabe-WAG heaven, so it was only a matter of time before the stretch versions arrived for hen parties.

On Wednesday I spotted one on the opposite side of the M6 Manchester-way, but think it was dark grey rather than black.

Looked gash, but still most Audi's do now...

I don't mind the Q7. It looks extremely mean! Like it wants to run you over a few times and leave you for dead. I like aggression in cars :D

As far as SUVs go I think the Q7 looks like one of the better ones.
As far as stretches go, the silliest ones we get round here are the Stretch Humvees, they are just vast.

The wheels in Danny's post are the ones that make the Q7 IMHO. A local businessman has a kinda horrible magenta coloured one with wheels that are way too small for the car and it just looks top heavy. You are right though, compared to Range Rover, X5 etc, its has more appealing lines. But its an Audi so I'm biased.;)

The Humvee I saw yesterday had 23" wheels and they still looked "small" in proportion to the rest of the vehicle!

I work with the Q7 every day and i only like it from the front and front angles thats it

Now audi have shrunk the Q7 in the wash to create the Q5 the proportions work much better. It probably gives a clue to the design direction if a true A2 replacement had ever appeared......photoshoppers?

the Q7 limo belongs to Style Limos, nr Manchester. I borrowed their Flying Spur once.
