See here - http://www.audi-a2.co.uk/uk28.htm

Come forwards Tony Crane and tell us more. Is this a standard colour?
Are you UK or Spain based.

It would make a colourful alternative at the social.:D

Wow, this must be one of the special colours you pay for. I quite like it as it looks a dark rusty orange in the photo.

A2, you've been tango'd!

The first ever A2 I saw at the NEC Motorshow in Birmingham was also Orange! But look at http://www.audi-a2.co.uk/uk27.htm!!! BRG!!! I've never seen a BRG Audi A2! The text say "which was extra..." Does that mean the £1500 option I see on the A2 configurator?

I'm not sure if Tony uses the forum.

Either way I'll tell you that he is a Brit living in Spain. I'd assume that his A2 is a Spannish left hand drive model.

Also, below my shiny beast, Roy Fox's ex-A2 is a similar, if not the same colour: http://www.audi-a2.co.uk/uk1.htm

Are you coming to the club social (http://www.audi-a2.co.uk/meet1.htm)?

I saw my first A2 for over 3 weeks today, just a plain Silver one, but I was still excited to see one. I flashed my lights and waved and the woman driving seemed a little shocked as though I'd gone mad or something. She gingerly waved back after a second or two.

On my way to and fom work I pass the same 2 cars (both A2'S) every day. Despite waving and flashing not once has either person acknowledged me back (BOO HOO).

Us Scots are supposed to be the friendliest in the UK[:0]

I see A2s fairly frequently and I always try to catch the drivers eye (unless I'm going 70 down a dual carriageway of course!) but I've never been acknowledged! I'm also sad enough to always try to look at the rear of other A2s to see if I can spot an A2OC sticker but I've never seen one on another car :(

Funny that, I've never had a wave back either. You've never seen a sticker on mine 'cos I haven't got one, yet . We'll have to get baseball caps, mugs permanently in the cup holders, Tshirts, rally jackets, er......thats enough tacky rubbish. I think that a better class of person drives A2's and they wouldnt' wave to anyone to whom they had not been introduced.

Can you point me to the little A2OC cards that I can print and leave under peoples wipers?. I keep seeing one in the carpark and never get round to plonking an advert on it.

Cheers.

Runboy,

I now keep a stack in my car, but since preparing them, I haven't seen more than one stationary A2! I used to have a smaller 'business card' sized design but unless you have preperforated paper they're a pain to cut out; so these once do the trick if you just paste 3 or 4 onto a sheet of A4 in Word or Powerpoint.

Thanks!!
