Having washed my car I was surprised when my board computer detected and permanently displayed steering gear power, ABS and ASR failures. However braking system seems to work properly. But unfortunately the steering gear lost the power. Is it possible that water could get into electric circuit or something?
Has anyone any idea?

I've heard of inconsistent 'blips' in the electronics where the car has just shut down for no apparent reason but I've not heard of this before.
Have Audi had a look and given you their diagnosis?

No, I would like to find a defect and repair it by myself cause it can't be anything sophisticated. Nonetheless, today everything works again due to evaporation of water (I guess). The only question is where there is a box with all these chips responsible for engine and other devices, cause I cannot find it!

Try looking under the floor - front passenger footwell. Hope you dont have water in there!
