I'm with you Ian! it reminds me of something else at the front, Daihatsu Copen maybe - although its at least cute!? Either way, not a bonny face :o

I'm not too sure about the front end, but I do like it overall. From the reviews I've read, it looks better in the flesh and the looks grow on you.

The styling is aimed as much at women as it is at men, hence the "cute" looks. It's essential that a car in this sector appeals to women, apparently.

There is an A2 connection - the director of Alfa's Centro Stile (Style Centre), Christopher Reitz, was the head of advanced design at Audi before moving onto Nissan in 1999. One of the articles I've read says he has the A2 on his CV, without giving any more details. He became head of Fiat's Style Centre in 2005 and moved to Alfa in 2008. So it's safe to conclude that he has been involved in the design of both cars, though of course they are very different. He's also been involved in the Qashqai & Lupo...

Have you both seen it?

On pictures, it looks pretty rubbish but in the flesh it's clearly an example of how the camera lies; they look utterly stunning.

have done the same it was a Black Mito with red stripes and red leather and
all i can say is having seen one and drueled all over it i want one i even liked the front
they are so much better upclose and personal LOL !!!

Could this be a replacement for the A2 Well give it another 5 years and we'll see if the Mito still looks good....
I May have to think about it...Unless of course the New A2 is as good looking in the flesh ....

I've seen a couple around Dublin and they look great from the side an back. However, I have to agree that the front view leaves a lot to be desired. Maybe it will grown on me. It's the first Alfa I can remember that isn't love at first sight.
