Amulet Red Colour - Discontinued

Hi:

My local dealer told me this morning, Amulet Red (4G4G) is discontinued. As you know this colour has been used in A2 and A4 series. This kind of RED will be replaced.

I don´t know if this is only for Spain

You should still be able to get that Amulet colour on the special colour order scheme... but it will cost you "only" £1500 in the UK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I see that Audi are still doing the spangly pant and cooled air for £250 until end of June (I think it was june anyway). Maybe a long term offer to encourage sales?.

The special colour is the "individualfarben" in german I think.

That means that you can have the car painted in any colour you like !! My dad has a signal-yellow VW passat, looks very cool.

Makes sense, the risk is bigger so the deposit should also be bigger.
My father drives the car until it's worn out but I suspect that the second hand value can be somewhat less if the car is a special colour.

I would have liked a nice dark purple one (similar darkness to the cobalt blue - I saw an old 80s coupe in one once with Cream leather interior), but I couldn't afford the extra cost of the custom paint/leather...
