Radio Removal ??

I am halfway through the installation of rear door speakers. I have the speakers in the doors and in the next several days will attach the wires. Does anyone know how to remove the JVC headset in order to hook up the speaker wires?? I'm guessing there are some tools/levers that slide in to release the latch before the unit slides out. Has anyone attempted this? What kind of tools are needed and where do they fit? Or is it easier to have a radio shop remove it?

The best way to do this is with a credit card cut it into a strip and push it in which unlocks the holding pins. The more technical appoach is to use some pioneer keys with the notch on the end filed off

depends on your Audi dealer, but some of them will give / sell you a set of radio removal tools if you ask nicely.
