Indicator relay or stalk?

HaZeL has just started to have an issue with the indicators, more to the point the relay continues after the signal has been stopped and then randomly for about 5 mins, If I don't use them at all its fine; its only once they have been used the issue starts.

Today I replaced the relay and the issue is still there.

so could it be the stalk and how easy is it to change.

It could be a problem with the stalk contacts, especially if the indicators click without flashing - http://www.a2oc.net/forum/showthread.php?t=12829&highlight=indicator+stalk.
If you actually need a new stalk the it could be the perfect time to have cruise control fitted

Is it easy to check to contacts?

Mike, If the stalk is at fault what would be your replacement cost.

If it is the stalk, you're looking at £25 parts and labour and I'll be able to do it at the forthcoming social if you can make it.
