Removing the radio?

Can anyone advise me how to remove the radio.
I want to detach/remove a (mobile phone) bracket which is fitted between the radio and the dashboard but see no way of doing so without first removing the radio.

Hi Mike,

You'll need a couple (4 if you've a double height radio) of release keys - there's a few available on Ebay at the moment:

I've no connection to the seller, but these are the sort you want.

Slide them into the little slots under the knobs either side and then use the rings on the keys to pull the radio out.

Use two swiss army knifes. The small blade is perfect for this.
