I bought a damaged a2 back in november for myself to use

always wanted one but always thought they were expensive little cars

now i got one i have been looking for parts to get it back on the road
i have been lucky with most things but trying to find 2nd hand parts is very difficult

everything new is very expensive ? why is this when bigger audis are cheaper?

Two main reasons: materials and availability!

Most of the parts for the A2 are Audi only (no aftermarket alternatives) and they're built of the best materials available (much of what you've been after is all aluminium), hence the high prices.

From what I can gather, you've been trying to fix an A2 that had similar damage to mine and the repair bill that my insurers picked up recently came to just short of £7000!!

Cheers,

Mike

so far i bought the car for £2000

bonnet £40
bumper £50
intercooler £35
rad £48
air con rad £80

just bought a front panel and bumper carrier £210 the pair

just need few little bits like a grill, bumper grills bumper fixings etc

so not too bad my mate is charging me £500 to repair and paint it
