The diversity unit in my boot well has died due to the common water in the boot problem because of a dodgy air vent. Hopefully (fingers crossed), the leak is now sorted but the radio reception is completely knackered.

Have tried another A2's diversity unit in it but reception is only mildy better and still very poor on some radio stations that I know usually provide a strong signal. One solution would be to perhaps plug a powered aerial lead directly into the back of the head unit and then maybe feed the aerial wire through the dash or something similar.

Just wondered if anyone knows of any gizmo that could be used here. Anyone done this themselves? Cost?? I know even with a replacement diversity unit which are approx £150 new, I could still be chasing my tail! Better to bypass the boot altogether I think.
