If you can do one thing today

Tighten up your door hinges on the door side, not the Torx facing you.
lets just say mine were loose and I didnt even notice.
No wonder they start tearing at the door given a bit of movement.

Its a bit awkward, you need a small Torx and I had to use a spanner to move it to tighten it.
There some preventative maintinance that costs nothing if you have the Torx.

I Looked at mine last week and noticed it was loose, tightened it a bit but did'nt have the right size Torx bit.
What size is it 47 ?

it was either a 40,45 or 50

I had to use a small one after pulling out the lump of foam hiding the bottom drivers door hinge

yep, mine was loose on the lower hinge. It is T45 I think, not one from my 'typical torx bit set' but one from my extra large bit set. It cause the door to misalign and excessive wind noise at speed as it didn't shut properly.

First off, thanks to Roy Boy for this thread. Ref the above, a picture wont help as the hinge bolt in question is hidden by the door skin. Its the lower hinge and the bolt which attaches the hinge to the door ( hope that makes sense) you dont need to remove the foam packer to get at it; just move this to one side - I used a micro torch in one hand and a T40 torx key to nip it up.
