1.4 petrol

To compliment my 1.4 tdi I 'm looking at getting a 1.4 petrol. This means I can divide my annual mileage over the two cars. I'm aware of the common issues these cars have, drop links, anti roll bar bushes etc but does the petrol only suffer from throttle body issues and coil pack problems?
 
I have 1.4 Sport petrol and have owned it for about 3yrs. In that time the only problems I have had was replacing the coil pack and genuine wear and tear like replacing springs etc. Nothing major.
 
I had thought of that johnmed. The petrol will have to be any colour but black
 
What is the typical cost of replacement coil packs and how do you tell they need replacement Red bull?
