Information Late model Spec 'Limited Edition'

Hi,

After looking around for a 'late' model A2 there seems to be a few 'Limited Edition's ' about.

Can someone tell me are they ' specked up??' or what?

There is no such thing as a 'limited edition' A2. Not that specific nomenclature anyway.

From late 2004 the order books closed on base, SE and Sport spec A2's in the UK and everything from then which was built to order was a'special edition' car which is essentialy base spec with climate control fitted as standard. ( I think there'll be some other details but you get the idea).

You could still add 'spec' to these, so you see the odd one with leather or Opensky. But any 54, 05 or 55 plate SE or Sport with some spec will have been ordered pre October 2004 and registered later.
