Hi everyone,
My names Win ( A2tdifan ) and ive just purchased a tdi A2 ( which sadly needs an engine rebuild, but was the only way I could afford to own such a high spec 1 owner late model )
Ive owned tdi golfs for nearly 20 years and decided I no longer needed the 1.9 power, fuel consumption and road tax bill.
Cant wait to get this beauty fixed up as I know im gonna appreciate it, and im sure it will serve me into retirement.
Ive placed a thread within the forums hoping to get some advice and tips on my rebuild.
I have also recently been following a bloke that had his engine out and is replacing it with an electric unit married to the tdi transmission ! Pretty cool job he's doing.
Oh well, good luck to all members, and hope we can be of help in some way to eachother in the near future.
